Virginia M. “Ginny” Ciochetti

Virginia M. “Ginny” Ciochetti was born and raised in Waterbury; the daughter of Pasquale and Marie. Ginny has 2 sisters and 2 brothers.  Ginny is an OLMC Alumni, a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Quinnipiac University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, and Yale University where she was enrolled in their two year internship for Athletic Training.  Ginny is a registered Physical Therapist for 34 years and owns her own Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Practice in Southbury for the last 27 years and is a Certified Athletic Trainer for 20 years.  Ginny is a lifetime Monastic Scholar, O.S.B. of the Abbey of Regina Laudis, a Dale Carnegie Course Graduate and in 1990 received inclusion in The World Who’s Who of Women.  Ginny most recently created the Marie & Pat Ciochetti Foundation, Inc., which is a 501(c)3  non-profit organization which conducts 6 charitable events per year to benefit poor families and abused women and children.  Ginny serves in several voluntary roles at Mount Carmel; she has been the kitchen chairperson for our Annual Feast for the last 4 years, is a weekly collection counter, office volunteer, coordinator of the Advent Giving Tree and the Easter basket drive, assistant for the Passion Play production, and volunteers time to our food pantry and Altar Society.
