Robert S. “Bob” Kolesnik, Sr.

Attorney Robert S. “Bob” Kolesnik, Sr., is a native of Town Plot, having graduated from both BW Tinker School and Crosby High School.  Bob is married to his high school sweetheart, Janice D’Ambrisi Kolesnik of 49 years.  Bob and Janice have four children and two grandchildren, one of whom attends third grade at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Bob graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law School in Washington, DC, with a dual degree of Bachelor of Law and Juris Doctorate.  Bob was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1966, to practice in the United States District Court and the United States Claims Court in 1967 and in 1992 to practice in the United States Supreme Court.  Bob is currently President and Senior Partner at the law firm of Kolesnik and Norris with offices in Waterbury and Woodbury.  Bob holds a membership with the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Waterbury Bar Association and is a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Board.  Bob enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, fly fishing and reading.
